NVIDIA Organizes a Demonstration: The GeForce 6800 Sessions
Part III: Timbury     [also see Part I: Clear Sailing and Part II: Nalu]

NVIDIA invites you to take a peek into the construction of its latest product demonstrations, which illustrate the features of the new NVIDIA® GeForce™ 6800 graphics processing units (GPUs).

This is the third article in a three-part series, detailing the time and effort that went into the making of the “Timbury” demo.
When it came to making the third of the demos designed for NVIDIA’s new GeForce 6800, the demo team felt it needed something that was on par with the graceful beauty of a shimmering mermaid in “Nalu” and the majesty of the elegant pirate ship cutting through the sea and mist in “Clear Sailing.”

Enter Timbury.

No, “graceful” and “elegant” aren’t the words that come to mind when you see the bespectacled adventurer, but his demo does offer the most personality and story of the three. He also has the most interesting biography of all the demo subjects.
